Opener repair — all brands
Most opener problems are fixable: worn drive gears, a failed logic board, burned-out capacitors, misaligned safety sensors, wiring problems, or remotes and keypads that lost their programming. We carry common parts for LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Genie, Craftsman, Linear and other brands.

New opener installation
If your opener is 12–15+ years old, lacks safety sensors, or needs a second major repair, a new one is usually the better buy. We install:
- Belt-drive openers — very quiet, ideal for garages under bedrooms or living space.
- Chain-drive openers — strong, reliable and budget-friendly.
- Wall-mount (jackshaft) openers — free up ceiling space, ultra-quiet.
- Smart Wi-Fi control — open, close and check your door from your phone.
- Battery backup — get out of the garage during a power outage.
- Keypads, remotes and car programming — set up before we leave.

Opener Repair & Installation — common questions
Should I repair or replace my garage door opener?
If it's under about 10 years old and the problem is a gear, sensor or remote, repair usually makes sense. Older openers, or ones without safety sensors, are usually better replaced. We'll give you both prices.
Can you install a smart opener on my existing door?
Yes, as long as the door itself is balanced and in good shape. We check the springs and balance first so the new opener isn't overworked.
Why does my door go back up when it's closing?
Almost always the photo-eye safety sensors near the floor: something is blocking them, they're dirty, or they've been bumped out of alignment. It can also be the opener's force or travel settings.
